Kelechi Ogbuehi, Founder/CEO

Kelechi Ogbuehi, is the daughter of an Anglican church Priest, Rev. Canon Raphael Azubuike and married to Chris Ogbuehi. She is a Registered Nurse by profession.

She came to United States of America in 1990, to join her husband. Naturally, giving and helping people are Kelechi’s passion and she derives joy in doing that. Her life has been about community out-reach. She grew up in a family rich in spirituality that encompasses giving back to the community. Her philosophy is and has remained that you really cannot give enough of your service or your wealth away. You will be rewarded abundantly, truly.

She is blessed with four wonderful children, CJ, Cedric, Christal, and Chelsea.

Curtis Gadsden, Vice-President


Married for 28 years

One son and daughter-in-law (both serving in the U.S. Army currently supporting a NATO Command in Naples Italy).

Retired Vice president from IBM in March of 1999.

Currently, mentoring at Stults Elementary School, work with the Sudanese Refugees and chairs the pastoral care committee at Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Dallas.

Love to play golf and fish.

Chelsea Ogbuehi, Co-Founder


Chelsea Ogbuehi, is currently a senior at Allen High School. She is a very active person not only in school but also in the community.

Chelsea is a part of various organizations including HOSA (Health Care Professionals) , UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund), NHS (National Honor Society) and more.

​She also spent her summer time volunteering at Baylor Hospital. She finds pride in helping others and she is very excited about the future of Destiny Foundation.

Cedric Ogbuehi, Co-Founder


Cedric Ogbuehi is an American football offensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M and graduated with a BSC.

Ogbuehi attended Allen High School in Allen, Texas, where he was a two-time all-state selection for the football team. In his junior year, Ogbuehi was the best blocker for an offense that averaged 36.1 points and 225 rushing yards per game, finishing the season 15–1 with a UIL state championship. As a senior, Ogbuehi helped lead the way for an Allen offense that averaged over 466 yards per game, allowing just one sack. He was an Associated Press second-team all-state pick and unanimous first-team all-district honoree. He played in the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Seeing what his mom went through with breast cancer and the promise she made to God, Cedric decided to make his mom’s dream a reality by helping her start Destiny foundation.

Christopher Ogbuehi Jr., BOD


Christopher is the eldest of the Ogbuehi children. He is a computer and software engineer by trade and has background in creating companies. He has a passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive impact in the world through his entrepreneurial journey.

-Liaison between Episcopal Church of the Ascension and Stults Road Elementary School for 13 years
-Mentored at Stults Road Elementary School for 11 years
-Have been supporting Destiny Foundation in a voluntary capacity for the past three years

Jennifer Green Godette, BOD


Jennifer Green Godette is a marketing executive at Cognizant, a Fortune 200 company that provides IT services, including digital, technology, consulting and operations services.  As Global Marketing Leader for Cognizant’s Women Empowered program, Jennifer works to elevate the experience of work for women.

Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in architectural design from the University of Virginia, and completed her MBA at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.  Jennifer developed a love for Africa, its culture and its people as a college exchange student in Ghana.  Serving on the board of Destiny Foundation has given Jennifer an opportunity to rekindle her interest in Africa while beginning to make a positive difference there.  Jennifer resides in Southlake and spends most of her weekends cheering on her son at baseball games.

Rt. Rev. David Onuoha - Nigeria Liaison Person


Rt. Rev David Onuoha is the Anglican bishop of Okigwe South Diocese in Nigeria. He is also the Episcopal Secretary of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) as well as chairman of the Governing Council of Trinity Theological College, Umuahia. Bishop David is a firm believer in the efficacy of deeds of love as a true expression of the Christian faith. He is happily married with three lovely children.
